Cleanest Off-Road ready XJ I've ever seen on eBay
This thing looks like it was prepped for Pebble Beach! Check out the paint job on that engine!

its got a d35 with a chrome ring around the pumpkin.................

JWFokker 06-01-2008 03:06 PM

I really like that engine bay.

OMG I wouldnt back that thing out of the driveway. Why why do people think they need drop pitman arms? His steering/draglink angles are so off. I bet it bump steers alot.

A 2 inch t case drop? A 6 inch lift without a SYE are you kidding me?

3.07's with 33's? Wow that must blow.

33's on a 35? Well at least he polished the turd as much as possible.

Lift blocks?

What a waste. It is a very clean XJ I'll give it that.

Ya, I never said it was built properly, but as an exercise in paint and prep, it looks amazing.

I wish my Jeep looked that clean underneath!

frankkl 06-01-2008 04:45 PM

Lots O time in the paint dep...

myriad360 06-01-2008 05:26 PM

Ha, funny, I was just looking at this the other day.

justinwalden 06-01-2008 05:39 PM

sweet pin stripes :hahaha:

00BlackdOut 06-01-2008 06:27 PM

Did he really paint the entire rotor?? WTF?!?!
Looks like he JUST finished putting it together and never took it for a test drive.

Sierra Drifter 06-01-2008 06:36 PM

"Offroad ready"

Not even close. It is very clean, lots of detailing and paint. But as others have said, stock gears, no lockers, no skids, chorme diff covers?, 6 inch drop pitman?, no rock sliders, no SYE, no CV shaft, etc etc. He pulled the engine to paint it, but didn't rebuild it or even freshen up the top end, with 154K ???
Looks like the ultimate mall crawler. Although I wish my engine compartment looked that nice.

gijazbo 06-01-2008 06:38 PM

mall crawl poser..... nice but i would trust my rig over something thats that pretty any day. I mean most of that will be undone in two or three trail rides.

Yep, very clean.

As far as the "never been offroad" that probably includes the majority of Jeeps.

I think of it as: they take the depreciation, and I take the mint Jeep in 15 years when it's worth about nothing. :)

RockRodHooligan 06-01-2008 08:43 PM

Wow, the first thing I'd do was take the blocks and spacers out, throw an SYE in there, and fix the steering. Otherwise it'd make a great show truck. I wouldn't really want to wheel it after all the work this guy has done.

600dollarXJ 06-01-2008 10:56 PM

He has rags between the jacks and the body, don't want to scratch the paint!

The time now is 08:27 PM.
