Cleanest Off-Road ready XJ I've ever seen on eBay

This thing looks like it was prepped for Pebble Beach! Check out the paint job on that engine!

OMG I wouldnt back that thing out of the driveway. Why why do people think they need drop pitman arms? His steering/draglink angles are so off. I bet it bump steers alot.

A 2 inch t case drop? A 6 inch lift without a SYE are you kidding me?

3.07's with 33's? Wow that must blow.

33's on a 35? Well at least he polished the turd as much as possible.

Lift blocks?

What a waste. It is a very clean XJ I'll give it that.

I'm forever grateful to Speedycat and RnEmOvr for their generosity

Ya, I never said it was built properly, but as an exercise in paint and prep, it looks amazing.

"Offroad ready"

Not even close. It is very clean, lots of detailing and paint. But as others have said, stock gears, no lockers, no skids, chorme diff covers?, 6 inch drop pitman?, no rock sliders, no SYE, no CV shaft, etc etc. He pulled the engine to paint it, but didn't rebuild it or even freshen up the top end, with 154K ???
Looks like the ultimate mall crawler. Although I wish my engine compartment looked that nice.

2001 XJ RE 5.5 ED w/T&T Y-link longarm, 37" MTR's, D44/D60, ARB's, Rubicon Tcase, and all the usual junk.

Yep, very clean.

As far as the "never been offroad" that probably includes the majority of Jeeps.

I think of it as: they take the depreciation, and I take the mint Jeep in 15 years when it's worth about nothing.

'91 XJ 126,XXX miles (110,XXX when purchased), (was) in mint cond. stock, fully loaded. 4wd + np242 -Mods: Harbour Freight lights on the bumper. 30"s, 2" bb, exhaust, other small misc stuff.
'96 XLT MANual Ford Ranger 151,XXX miles (113,XXX when purchased), mostly stock except for Cooper A/T tires and a CB
'85 Toyota Pickup 156,000 miles 22R, on 33"s

Wow, the first thing I'd do was take the blocks and spacers out, throw an SYE in there, and fix the steering. Otherwise it'd make a great show truck. I wouldn't really want to wheel it after all the work this guy has done.

He has rags between the jacks and the body, don't want to scratch the paint!
