Is this Cherokee worth it?

I pretty much made this account just to ask this question. There is a guy near me selling a 1998 2 door 5 speed 4x4 Cherokee. It has 200000 kms on it and looks to be in pretty good shape. He is asking $2500. Right now I have a Ford ranger, and I know the bolt pattern is the same but would they work on the Cherokee?

Yes, they will work IF you take a dye grinder to the hub opening and remove about a 1/16" all the way around

Do buy. 2 doors are hard to come by. 5-speeds are hard to come by. That's a good price for any decent condition XJ. I'm mad jelly.

XJ prices are highly geographically dependent.

That being said, I don't think anyone would say that's a bad price, no matter where they were.

The jeep was sold before I could even go take a look at it, guess I have to live with the ranger a little longer
