Cherokee vs...
Whatsup guys. I'm getting ready to have an offroad meet pretty soon in my town, and I've got a list of what I'm up against. Some of these vehicles are pretty foreign to me, and some aren't even real 4x4's! Here's what I've got coming with me in a few weeks...
-Jeep Wrangler (TJ) -Chevy Blazer -Subaru Outback -Chevy Colorado LS -Dodge Durango -Chevy Silverado Anybody know how these will compare, especially the Blazer and Outback? And what other vehicles have you offroaded with before, and how did your XJ compare? I'd like to go wheelin' with a Nissan Pathfinder, Nissan Xterra or a Ford Explorer sometime ![]()

when my XJ was stock i outwheeled a bronco 2(ifs), bronco(ifs) and wrangler (all of which were stock). at 3" on 31s with LSD rear ive out wheeled a toyota( 2" lift with ifs) a blazer (older model with solid axles, rear mini spool,35s and 6" lift), and a built 70s chevy c-series something. idk what you have to worry about with outback unless its completely rebuilt and modded . lets just say you will probably woop *** on all these vehicles unless your stock and they are modded:
-Chevy Blazer -Subaru Outback -Chevy Colorado LS -Dodge Durango -Chevy Silverado most of those rigs have IFS and arent meant for "real" offroad use like our XJs. have fun and dont get ****y. ![]()

Haha thanks for the reply man. Ya, all of our vehicles are stock, I know nobody that has anything non-stock, except the Silverado may be getting a 6" lift soon! But I'm glad to hear that they have ifs, and that I will most likely outwheel them - thanks for the courage-booster haha

What kind of wheeling? You'll likely kick *** in the trails and rocks, but they'll stomp your stock suspension in any kind of pre-running or duneing... My advice? Have fun, don't worry about being "better" than anyone else, life's too short ![]() |

Hey man, I agree with you there! I had no intention of trying to be better than anybody else, we don't treat offroading as a competition where I come from! |

Comparing stock vehicles there isn't much that can out wheel a XJ, but I'm not saying the XJ is the best.
For better answers let us know what kind of terrain, driver experience, and mods done to the vehicles.

Going stock for stock, I'd say the TJ is the only one that has a slight advantage.
