got mine off superbrightLEDS.com, just ordered 5 of the 74-xHP3's for the backlights to start, ran about 20 bucks with shipping, heres a pic



they look even better at night, im getting some more for my fogs, defrost and rear wiper lights in the next few days

although i checked and they don't have those bulbs in purple : ( gahhh sorry!

dang that sucks i love purple behind my dash just gotta get it brighter, yours looks great

see if you can find purple 74-xHP3's anywhere else, i'll take a look around as well. I was weary which is why i only got 5 to start, just to see what they would look like, you could also attempt to just get a bright white from Superbrightleds.com and maybe find purple screens or paper...but that would be a last resort cause it seems like a lot of work for lights haha

When you said halos... I thought you were talking the ccfl's or newer tech led's...yours look nothing like the ones in my Magnum...maybe a closer pic is needed

will get a closer pic when i fix the halos, they are very differen't from yours just the outside of the housing lights up instead on the center circle its differen't and cheaper and they look better then what i had

i'm mostly gettign them because they are easy HID conversions too, not to mentions the housings are nice and the outer 'halo' light is pretty cool. i dont even think they make 'true' halo headight conversions for xj's anyway

i think they do but they are over 100 just for the housing with nothing else lol not worth it

If you hook them up to your marker lights they will flash with your turn signals = bad idea.
I understand how you have to wire those halos up separately, is there a fuse or at the least a relay between the interior switch and the lights? Or are you pumping high amps into a dash switch? If that's the case you may want to seriously consider rewiring those lights before you have a fire when your dash switch burns out.

i'm gonna run mine straight to a seperate switch and into the fuse box with an inline fuse as well, just ordered em, hopefully get em by friday for some weekend work
