Xj Check out my paint job and bushwakers

Well i found a set of bushwackers at a junkyard and offered the guy 40.00 for them. He took the offer. So i figured 500$ flares for 40$ was a good deal. There for a 4-door but..Tell my if you guys like or not.I only have 800$ in the jeep including the price of the jeep.

They look pretty mean. Seems to me you've done well for your total investment.Just be careful(if its even possible)
about hitting trees and rocks with the Bushwhackers. I hear tell they can crack and break pretty easily.

I think you need to take advantage of your new ability to mount much wider tires! Would really look a lot better, not that it doesn't look cool now. Nice score!

Wow! I've gotten some screamin deals from the junkyard but thats great! I've smacked mine pretty hard on trees wheelin and haven't had anything break (yet? ). I did have a cutdown that hung out in to the trail scrape em a bit but everything held firm. I'd recommend getting some small washers and nuts that fit the bolts and put them on the inside to hold the flares on better. Then they can't tear out as easily. I do so like the 2 door...

Yeah im going to get some soft 8 with some backspacing so they stick out farther.Im looking around for a used set.May trade these gc cherokee wheels for some or something. But after the wheels comes some tsl swampers. Its a good rig besides the crap puegot trany 5spd.But its held up so i cant complain. So has the welded d35 also.I also got my stocker bumper ripped of the other day so a 6inch c-chanel will take its place like the front bumper.

Looks great on there! Great price too.

What do you have on the roof holding on your jack and tire?

2 extra rack bars.I drilled two holes then put bolts then a nut to keep it there then set the rim on it and used the stock wing nuts. And the highlift is used the same way drill/big bolt/nut on the top side to keep it there then put the high lift on and then a wing nut to keep the hL there. Its actually pretty sturdy. The key is to have three bars for the tire, so it balances it.You can kinda see it.

those flares look terrible on your two door, you should take them off and ship them to me immediately, and just take it as a forty dollar leason learned! just kidding, they look awesome.

I like the high angle mud shot. Good idea with the extra cross bars on the roof. It needs some hood vents... I found mine on an '80's Dodge 600 turbo, $8, and they'd fit in with the low cost theme!
