cheap tires/free shipping

http://www.tirebuyer.com/

Someone posted about them on CF awhile back about this site but the threads since been deleted. No personal experience with the company but I know a few people over there bought tires from them problem free.

I've been shopping around for tires for the last couple months since I'm going to need new ones soon anyway and they seem to have the best prices by far. They don't charge shipping and I've noticed a lot of the time they offer like $100 back on a pre-paid Visa for ordering from them.

They are nothing special Just some BBS RA Wheels off a MK2 Jetta Wolfsberg

I'm going to wrap them with some 195/45/15 tires

I'm a big Treadwright fan but that site has great prices and selection!

My build thread has pics again. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f177/kevin108s-2000-xj-build-867428/

How do you like the treadwright tires? I've thought about getting a set but I don't know much about them

I had a set of 30s on my S-10 years ago when they were HiTec Retreading. My little brother ran a set of 31s for a few years before finally killing his S-10 Blazer. He ignored some bad balljoints and the front tires were chewed up but the back two were fine. When he scrapped it, he gave me the two good tires and they're living on my XJ now. My buddy Ray has a set of 31" ATs on his fullsize Bronco. He's got about 25,000 miles on them and they're around half tread. We've all been very happy with them!

There's a lot of misinformation out there about retreads. Some of it is just FUD and some of it is from older, less-reliable processes. With modern techniques, they're just as good as any new tire and the conditions that would make a retread fail would make any tire fail.

My build thread has pics again. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f177/kevin108s-2000-xj-build-867428/

I'll have to take these into consideration. They've got some fairly aggressive looking tires for nearly have the price of new ones. Cant beat that if they're just as good and last just as long!
