center console

i posted this in the pic request part and haven't gotten any responses, can i get some pics sitting in both the drivers seat and passengers seat looking down at the center console. automatic is preferred, but manual is ok. i really need pictures of the drivers side, where the 4x4 handle is, and how much room there is in that area. I'm in the process of fabing my own center console.
this will be greatly appreciated

thank you tock. very helpful. i will be sure to post pictures of mine once its done. the problem I'm running into is how I'm going to make the e brake still useful, and still have an arm rest, and cup holders.

Sounds good I look forward to it.

Have you looked at the write ups for putting a 97+ console in a 96 and prior? They talk about relocating the brake lever in those, I would take a look.
