Camo Paint Jobs

I saw this picture:





...and ever since, I myself have been tossing the idea of a camo paint job around. I've never done one before, nor have I ever seen one being done, so I have no idea how they pull off the look. Anyone have any pointers or experience from doing it before?


'87 XJ Pioneer - 4.0/AW4/242/Dana 30/Dana 44, 4.5" coils, Dakota bastard packs, 31x10.5s, Looks like a 1000 bucks :D

That is a bad *** camo paint job most of the ones i've seen done dont look good at all I did OD green on my last project wish it was still around I liked the military look but sorry not tips from me on full camo.

Yeah that is a sick *** camo job. Most Ive seen look like ****. Sorry no tips either..but if you do it, do it right so it looks good.

Yeah, pretty much looks super kick ***. If I do go through with it, I want it to look like that, not some of the crap I've seen running around. That's why I'm trying to do my research.

Get a hold of the guy that posted the pic and ask if he has any info i have never seen one look that good so def do more research lol... good luck .

That camo job def. looks good. I thought about doin it to my rig, but this time of year in NJ isn't the time to do it. maybe once spring rolls around and its warmer.

I've seen them take a big leaf and use it for a stencil and spray paint it, as a final touch. Personally I like the Russian snow camo, its gray/blk/white
But green/brn/tan look good also

I agree the russian snow would be diffferent good idea man plus thats a nice rig i like that camo it was well done too.

Hey All,
Many times I have thought that the Cherokee would look good in Camo. However, having said that my paint is in near pristine condition, so it would be silly at this point. I will wait until it is all scratched to rat shiz and go from there.

Found this site, looks interesting! They even have a Cherokee for a demo model.

Looks almost like a mil. spec. CARC paint job. I really like it. The wife hates it. My paint is starting to look a little rough in a few areas.
