Buying a Cherokee question?

I have owned several Cj5's over the years, still have 1. I am now looking at buying a Cherokee for better driveabilty and for hunting. I really dont know much about them as what to steer clear of or check before buying. I am currently looking at a 1995 and a 1997..I know the one advantage to the 97 is the interior, but mechanincally is a 97 any different? The 95 is in great shape and has a super clean interior and has 120,000 mi the 97 is in good shape , but more miles on it. Thanks for any input on this

I think either is fine really. Just sold my 97 and bought a 96 (no real good reason though, I got a hair up my butt for a change  ) The 96 is lifted and I'm happier with it due to that...but I think I like the body styling of the 96 a little better too.
