Bushwackers

I'm thinking about putting bushwacker flares on my XJ but I'm not sure if the 31's I'm going to buy will be too small for the flares... If they are going to be too wide what is close to the same look or something that looks good too

What exactly it's your question? Will the 31's look small in the wheel well or will they not stick out enough for the use of the flares? What bushwhackers? Cut outs or flat? Any lift? Can't answer what you are asking without these things.

Yes to both looking small and not sticking out, cut outs, 2" lift but im re-doing the lift to a 3" in the near future.

If they are 31/10.5 they will look alright. 3"and 31's are a tight fit on stock flares so the bushwhackers will clear that up some and the 31's will fill the wheel well nice. If you really want the tires to stick out more, for appearance, then you could put wheel spacers on but I don't recommend them while wheeling or really at all. But it's your jeep so do what you want!

If you want to have your tires come out more evenly with the flairs, the best way to get it is to change your wheels. Get some with less back space.

Her is my xj with 32x10.5x15s on a 4.5" lift and cutouts. I don't remember the back spacing off hand but I do not have wheel spacers.

Figure I'll ask this here instead of starting a new thread. I'm looking into these flares for a '98 XJ I just bought recently, and I'm wondering what size tires this will allow me to use with no lift kit. It currently has 235/75/15 on the stock rims and they look about as large as my stock flares will fit.
