broken evap line, engine stutter?

Could a broken evap line cause my 2000 xj to have a slight stutter or misfire? Because I broke an evap line while installing my lift and haven't got around to fixing it yet, so i'm hoping this is what is causing the stutter. Any input would be great guys.

yes evap leaks/breaks can cause rough idle or shuddering, try "Blocking" it off with a screw or something and see if it changes it, maybe just seal it with our finger and see if it smooths out, if that was the issue it would immediately change and get better or worse when blocked off

I thought of that, this is where it confuses me, it idles fine, but then at a little over two grand at speed it tries to fall on its face, it never does, just keeps trucking along, but the stutter is quite annoying. I'm also pointing in the direction of it just needing a tune up, thought id get some other input while i could though.

That ^ doesn't really make a lot of sense but yes fix the broken line. A good rule of thumb is if you think it needs a tune up or you can't remember when you did one last it's probably due.
