You jelly?
Why not? I'd spend that much on a new tank ad fuel pump, and this way I'd have all the clearance in the world.

Clearance for what? You're not wheeling that hard. And why can't you get a used tank..?

I don't even own a jeep anymore

Fuel pump not working after the swap could just be a dirty connection on the plug that you disconnected or maybe just not plugged in all the way? You didn't unplug the fuel pump relay or fuse by chance did you? Could be something simple. I had something similar happen to me. Changed out my parking brake assembly inside the Jeep and when finished the Jeep would start then shut off. Found out the fuel pump wasn't working. I dropped the tank and replaced the pump. After reinstalling the tank and filling with fuel the pump still didn't work. After days of diagnosing the issue it turned out that there was a little ground wire that I somehow didn't hook back to one of the parking brake assembly mounting bolts under the dash. It was the ground for the fuel pump. Simple mistake cost me about a week of frustration and the price of a new fuel pump/sending unit. Hopefully yours is something simple that you just overlooked as well.

Do you have power at the relay? If yes then do you have power at the plug for the fuel pump/sending unit?

Yeah understood, there's nothing wrong with a fuel cell, it will cost close to as much I'd pay for a new pump and tank. Just a lot more bad ***.

Had to buy a shorter glass pack to Get my exhaust welded up right, also new tank and new precision fuel pump. She's back on the road! One more fix and she'll be better than ever
