That bumper looks just like the JCR DIY front with the pre-runner bar set that I bought and put together. It was pretty affordable and was a blast to make. I learned how to weld on my bumper. Nice work so far! Keep it up!

Sweet! You're gonna love it. It is so much more fulfilling to build it yourself instead of just buying bolt on stuff. Did you get the uniframe tie-in brackets and the steering box plate too? They are definitely worth the money, they really stiffen up the front end, protect your sheet metal by the steering box, and they make the front recovery points actually useful.

Have you welded much before?

Even better! I like to see people (especially young people) who are willing to tackle things they have never done. That's definitely part of the Jeep thing!

A little bit, I can weld pretty good. I was planning on buying the tie in brackets so I could actually use the recovery points. And yeah, I know what you mean, I love doing thing to my jeep with my own hands instead of paying someone to fix it/build it for me.

Sawzall or a grinder with a cut off wheel. Either way you will probably need a grinder to clean it up.
