Did some wheeling today, broke a rear axle, bent cross member and cracked my exhaust toward the end of the day playing in the rock garden.

New list for next days off:
*mount bumper and winch (bumper is getting powder coated)
*replace rear axle (ordered a Yukon axle 50% stronger)
*fix exhaust
*sye & new drive shaft (ordered from iron rock)
*fix and reinforce cross member with skids
*build rear bumper & get powder coated (dirt bound diy kit ordered)
*Durango steering gear swap
*install frame stiffeners (maybe)

Had to work over a couple days but got starter on it today. Got both axles in and with longer studs and went ahead and put new brake shoes on while it was tore down. Powder coat place was closed yesterday when I went by there so Monday I'll pick up my bumper and get my winch on and get the Durango steering box on.

Awesome build, do you have actual beadlocks or rock guards? How much did it cost to have the rims welded on?

Great looking rig man. You have really transformed it into a nice wheelin machine.

Where do you work that you leave for a few weeks at a time. My work is similar, most people here work 2 weeks on and then get 2 weeks off. Lots of my coworkers live in Texas and other states that don't have an income tax.

Thanks, they are bead locks. Kit is from chassis unlimited, was going to weld them on myself but my buddy is general manager over a welding/fab shop and I always help him on his rig so he offered to do them at work on some automated machine.

Got the Durango box and HD cross member on and started on my rear bumper. All I have left is some finish grinding, welding it out on the backside and the received.

Well i broke a front axle and had some heat issuse this time out so i ordered a yukon driver side front axle. Come to find out my radiator is half stopped up so i ordered a 3 core all aluminum one. Got my exhaust fixed from last ride replaced my cracked manifold with a stainless header that came in saturday. Then since I got a header I went ahead and ordered injectors, and sent my throttle body off to get bored out to 62mm. Took my back bumper and steering links off Monday and dropped them off for powder coat. Headed back to work tomorrow but will be back at it again in 2 weeks.

Wow, looks awesome. Very nice truck. Have you had a chance to run the jeep with the new exhaust, injectors and throttle body? How does it do?
