Then ordered some JCR rock sliders and installed these things. All i have to say is that these things are pure BEEF!! they are kinda a PITA to put on by yourself, but these things have paid for themselves over and over again.

Heres some pics of me playing on the Rubicon Trail (with sliders on):

the rock sliders

After hitting my Differential multiple times on the trail, i decided to order a Rock Solid Diff cover. I also decided to buy an Aussie locker for the front.

Here is a better picture of my sliders i just found:

the locker and diff cover!

I also decided to trim my front fenders. Overall i think it came out pretty good. I still need to put some adhesive trim over the cuts.

Then came my first big Wheeling trip!!! I went with a bunch of guys from jeepforum and our norcaljeepers.net club to DeerValley and Slickrock Traill. Both are located in northern California. Needless to say, I HAD A BLAST!!!

Instead of posting a bunch of pictures, ill show you the slideshow/video i made of the trip. Enjoy:

another video of me on the first and hardest obstacle at Deer Valley. I really wish i had my locker in before this run.

no i got it before they started dealing over seas. It rides great!! but i have crappy pro-comp shocks, so it rides rough.

so guys, i could use some advice. After my most recent wheeling adventure on DV trail, i bent my tie-rod. So now i am looking to upgrade my whole steering set-up. I could just go with a ZJ tie-rod and risk breaking it again, or i can do it right the first time.

here are my options:
-IRO tie rod
-JCR OTK (if i can find the money)
-Currie

all of these would consist of beefier tie-rod ends. IF i go with IRO, then i think i should have enough money to throw in a new trac bar. Only thing im worried about is that my Drag Link wont be as beefy as everything else, so its going to be the weakest link.
