The Blue Wolf XJ Build Thread
So heres my build thread. It's called The Blue Wolf because my college mascot is the wolf and my jeep is blue. Its also ironic because my dads old Cherokee was called Grey wolf. It's a 2001 Cherokee Sport. I love this Jeep to death. It gets me where i want to go, and in return i buy it new parts. Its a win-win situation. Enjoy

People usually start build threads after they have already completed part of the build. The company doesn't even have your lift in stock yet lol.
Any reasons for going with the super ride instead of superflex? Hopefully not because you be 'driving it on the street most of the time'.

thanks.. um the antenna sux.. I HATE IT.. the magnet mount is garbage and if you hit a tree branch going down the road it will knock off.. you cant even bend the antenna with out the magnet mount coming up.. the only nice part is to tune it you dont have to cut, all you do is turn a little screw.. so right now im gna start saving up for a firestik 4' i mine as well do it right..

that sux!! is it an old battery?? and is that stuff highly acidic? cause if it is you might want to make sure it didnt melt any wiring or stuff like that. and yea how are you gna mount your firestik? im thinking im gna make a custom mount and save some money.

My buddy brought me to autozone and I got a yellow top optima deep cycle I'll dig up the thread for ya tomorrow but basically I'm going to do what some others have done with the rear bumper. I dont really like the look of the antenna mounted above the tail light. Instead i'm going to cut a small slit in the back plastic piece on the driver side of the rear bumper. I'm going to get a flat bracket and bolt it to the inside of bumper, but when I put the end cap on, only a small part of the bracket will be sticking out where I will mount the firestick. Its hard to explain but i'll find the pics tomorrow Edit: I found the thread... If you scroll down, I'm going to do the same thing 1990JEEPXJ did with his 4' firestick. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/firestick-cb-antenna-mount-location-pics-505822/index5.html
