I like how people in that thread really make pinion placement on the housing seem like if it was a LP axle they were running, they would have exploded the pinion/housing/driveshaft. lol

Yes, there is a strength difference, but I don't think it is "30%" like they say. Like I said, I call BS. I don't think it's enough to notice. I've seen both axles beat on, and I do believe that a stock set of shafts will die before R&P in both axles.

Yeah haha I agree on that. I'd rather run hp if I'm pushing it.

I don't know how far you can push lp vs hp. Mine will never see more than stock shafts. I have broken a stub and torn the ears off a set of small joint shafts. I doubt I will ever go bigger until my jeeps built up. Then it will be a setup like ktm racer.

You've only talked about the hp30 swap not being worth it, why isn't the 242 worth it?

It's a low use item. That 200 for it could go to something better. Ie lockers. Skids.

Lol I'd buy one on craigslist for 50-75.

Put a flowmaster super 44 on her yesterday, then got really really drunk at the bar.

They are around 200 here for the two that'd work in a 97 plus.
