Blast from the Past - Police Jeep

I spend most of my time in the ZJ forum but thought I would share this with you Cherokee owners.

Back in the day when I was a police officer we initiated a new form of proactive policing called Community Policing. The department wanted to put us in vehicles which could easily be identified by the public we served but also give us something that had utility to assist off-road and in inclement weather. So, they bought us these 1995 (or 1994) Jeep Cherokees. Mine had just 9 miles on it in the picture. There were nine of them total and I think to this day a couple of them are still in service at the PD, which speaks for the durability of these bad boys. Man, I dogged this thing and it kept on going. We did have to use the winches a couple times both on and off duty (don't ask), but overall they were pretty solid and capable units. Can't remember the engines that were in them but they would fly.

Just thought I would share it with you Cherokee owners. Apologies for the size of the pic, it's the only one I have at the moment.
