Her maiden voyage, on the way to the trail

Entrance to the trail.

Me driving.

Alexis is along for the ride.

Quite a big rock to try out the flex.

Not bad

Brake line is good

Tire is off the ground

Found a big mud hole, decided to try it out

Stuck!

Diff was digging in

Backed right out!

River driving

Diff got hung up AGAIN. This time it was the rear. I need bigger tires!!!

I backed up, moved over a little, lined back up, and made it through the second time.

That's the exit! The Jeep did extremely well, and handled all the obstacles I attempted. Even with the crap highway tires. New ones will be mounted on the Cragars before too much longer.

The front springs are already starting to settle evenly with the rear. Now the front is only about 3/8" higher than the rear. In a few more weeks hopefully it will be even.

I was also poking around under the hood earlier to see what else may be causing my rough idle and I have to give it to the shop that swapped the engine in my XJ, they did a great job. Everything under the hood is new factory Mopar parts. The cap and rotor, the wires, the pumps and belt, everything has been replaced and all of the electrical connections have dielectric grease on them. Excellent work.

Haha thanks, I'll be getting tires as soon as I have the $$$. They are next on the list for sure.

Come to Boone and I'll be glad to show you where it's at! It's about a 5-10 minute drive from my apartment.
