Big Tires, No Lift

whats up guys. im not very active on the forum but i figured i stop by and post some pics of the latest mod. i got a set of JK rubicon wheels and tires from work for free(less than 1000miles) and i was in need of some new tires for my XJ so i said what the hell, ordered the spidertrax addapters, grabbed the cutoff wheel n got to work. the truck has bone stock suspention, no buget boost or nothing, just cut fenders.

here ya go guys...

What size are they?

Only person I can think of around here is Heavymetal and he was running 33s with no lift, but that was several years ago.

That's not it, his other XJ was the stock on 33's. You can see it in one of the pics on the first page though.

It looks absolutely hideous to me but it appears to be an XJ built for function over form, in which case aesthetics are of no importance.

Whatever happened with that build anyway? Easily my favorite on here aside from a couple obscure willys restorations.

My green Jeep took priority on a complete suspension/cage overhaul, then my business got more busy. DM is sadly in a scrap pile somewhere, scavenged for parts...but it was used fully before that, haha. some day there will be a new DM 2.0

it was a fun time. in hindsight i wish we had saved the gun pintle mount we made for it that matched up to an AR

That's a shame, I always like that better than the green one.
