If the brand new bearing failed why havent you spoke with driveworks or where you bought it from? You shouldnt have to pay to fix the damage a faulty part caused. They should be happy no one was hurt.

I'm just going to return the parts. I don't have time or need to try and sue or whatever. I just want my jeep back drive able again.

i dont see a stub shaft in those pictures. were you running that bearing without even the 2wd stubby in it? if so that is why it failed

the bearings wont seperate like that if you have the stubshaft and nut on it.

They would likely blame the failure on oversized tires and wheels with less backspacing than factory, so it wouldnt likely be worth his time to pursue a check from them.

exactly if i got hurt i would have gone after them but for this its not worth the time/ energy.

Im sure they would but a few extra pounds of tire wouldnt cause a bearing to fail that quickly when it has to support a 4000lbs truck. A 5-10 min phone call to see if they'll do anything really isnt too bad. Sounds like you have a good bit a parts to replace.

No. Didn't even think of that. But I've run em like that before and so have friends but those were also better bearings. Live and learn. I'll try and call but I very seriously doubt anything will happen. If it does I'll be shocked.

Side note got a clutch for the bean tonight so that should be good this weekend.
