As for lift, seeing how you put so many miles on it something that rides great is your best bet. I would give Dirk at DPG Offroad a call. He is a great guy to deal with and very knowledgeable. He builds hybrid OME lift kits in a variety of sizes. You can check it out on the DPG website.

Obviously his stuff won't be cheap, but you have to pay for quality. Since my jeep is a commuter vehicle also, I didn't want some hacked up lift that rode terrible and was going to fall apart after a year. I'm very glad I went with OME instead of paying more in the end to redo my suspension after I hated the ride.
Hmm I'll have to check that out later today! Thanks!

JK03... checked out that cite, looks pretty good. but to me there 4.5" OME kits seems like an EMU kits wit a BB on top of it? i wish OME made a 5-6.5" kit or at least leafs/coils so i could clayton 3 link the front.

as of right now IRO seems to be the best bang for the buck.

I just build mine to beat offroad hard and deal with the rough ride

So many people to thank here's a start to the list
Spidertrax, Yukon, rustys, warn, branik, PSC, advance adapters, Bad wheels, interco, essentially off-road. And many more

Most of all thanks too Ian Johnson and the xtreme off-road crew for all their work, and 4 wheel to heal for their part in it too.

It technically is an OME kit with a BB on top, but will ride amazing. BB doesn't mean a hack job lift. OME springs with an extended shackle will flex great and ride great. Front spacers will give added lift without changing the ride quality or hurting flex. Those setups are I think what you are looking for without going longarm. Don't forget IRO gets some of their springs from RC.

yeah, i know a BB wont affect the ride of the lift.

i asked IRO about what RC parts they use and i was told that they only use their shocks, and that is it everything else they make, other than the leafs which they get from India. IDK i been lookin and the IRO looks good, but ill still need a pitman drop arm and a few other things. depending on how much i sell my XJ for will depend on what lift i buy.

The jeep is definatly going to get a LA lift, no question about it.

i realy like the Clayton 6.5" 3 link lift. but its $2400 and that is just the lift, no shocks, sye, ds etc... that is a lot of coin.

Its pretty rough, but my claws and it being so beat up doesnt help, neither does the flex joitn control arms, bushign s are smoother

ha yeah right the IRO stuff seems decent to me, but i dont like that stupid adjuster thing on there. other than that i would just get a lower pitman arm and i think the IRO kit would be fine. its not like im a super hard core wheeler. i think IRO would work fine for me. its hard to justify the extra 1000, i know its good quality but im a baller on a budget haha

the BDS/CLayton are so nice, but they are also double the money... but u get what you pay for. between the 2 i think i would go BDS just cause of there no question return policy on broken stuff. plus its all american. plus its a bolt on kit. i like the clayton 3 link, but i dont wanna have to weld all kinds of stuff on my jeep.

who knows. these are just ideas for right now.
