I thought he meant zip ties. Guess I've been doing it wrong.

Seriously though, if you can cut your rockers out, do it. Who cares if they are "mint"? You wheel it don't you? Cutting the rockers out and replacing them gives more clearance and if you tie them into the frame (and you should, ask me how I know) they stiffen the rig up as a whole. Plus it looks better, but my beat up turd is a bad example for aesthetics.

I would agree its defiantly the best way. But right now for me its easier just to buy some bolt on rockers. By the time I pay someone to weld the tubing in its gonna cost me more than the sliders would.

First thing I need is steering though. Cant drive the Jeep right now its so bad. Saving up for JKS rods and WJ moog ends. I was gonna go ruffstuff 3/4 heims but I called RS and they told me NOT to use the 3/4 heims for steering even on a D30. So that solved that problem quick lol

Pre-made sliders are like $350, how the hell would it cost that much for a buddy to weld up some 4x6 stock? You need better friends mate.

My buddies who I trust to weld are usually busy as hell and live about an hour and a half away. And I'm at school right now so that doesn't help lol I'm not worried about loosing a few inches clearance. And the sliders look badass IMO lol

The bean will def be getting the 2x6 though.
