sliders are next on list after steering so what u guys think? right now i like the AJ's super rock rails and JCR stage 3. the AJ ones are cheaper but dont seem to have the pinch weld support on like the JCR does. the JCR are also $100 more.Thoughts?

The AJs rock! I have them and have held up very well! About the same pinch seam support as the JCR.. They both make good products!

Vote for AJs as well between the two. Not a fan of JCR and I've had good experiences with AJ's ****. You might find a couple bad reviews out there on him from a few years ago but it was *****ing from a couple people who couldn't get over the fact that their **** took a while because the guys house and shop burned down before he could get their stuff built.

Personally I'd do 2x6s though. Even if you can't weld you can do all the cutting and prep with nothing but a grinder and a tape measure and have someone weld them in locally for cheaper than either of the options you're looking at. Even if you want the rails AJ's sells them by themselves already bent and cut where you could just have them welded on to the 2x6s.

Ah. i know the 2x6 is ideal but idk my rockers are still spotless without a touch of rust so dont feel like cutting em... but i said the same about fenders haha

This is all I could come up with right now of actual use..

Slammed it good shortly after this pic was taken

This was a mix of diff and rocker guards

There is a lot more scrapes then just this. I haven't painted them since I installed them so I can keep tabs lol

2x6s done right look like factory rockers anyway. Plus, if you go drilling into the pinch weld you're inviting rust in to a degree anyway.

Yeah. Idk the JCR seem to look better to me.

I don't wanna cut the rockers on this. When I start to build the limabean I'm definitely gonna do it though.

Is there any other way? People ACTUALLY buy long pieces of metal to bolt UNDER the rocker? I did not know this...
