IMO if your a throttle down on 35s you will be breaking u joints/ring gear on a 30.. on a 44 you will be breaking u joints/ hubs.. (dana30 &44 have the exact same u joint) The "ultimate" 44 IMO would have RCVs but then your in another 1200 for just shafts and hubs but should be pretty stout for 35s-37s. Problem is you could easily put all of that 3700 just into the 44.

What I would do is watch Pirate and other boards for all ready built axles.. you can find built axles for half what it would cost to do your self.

Might just run 35's on this one with stock axles and build a trail rig. Bob picked one up for 1100 bucks with 0 rust. I would rather chop up a beat up one rather than my halfway pretty one.
