Best Paint for truck?

Ok, First and foremost my jeep needs to be sanded and painted. I have mostly surface rust. I am planing on painting it flat black. What is my best bet for an automotive anti-rust paint? Since I am sanding the rust down to metal will I need a metal prep. Its been along time since i have done this sort of thing.

I've seen a few Rustolem paint jobs come out extremely well. After proper prep work, and a little wet sanding then buffed to a shine !

I work at the hardware store in my town and there are a few rattle can jobs and the turned out great but speaking from personal experience i would go with a rustoleum protective enamel. when its dry it is much tougher than just basic rattle can paint it will last longer than the regular stuff.

When I painted my jeep I used a Epoxy primer and single stage auto paint.

Make sure to prep it properly.
