I'm honestly about to just buy the lift with the AAL i hear both good and bad. If the ride in the rear I bad I'll pick up the old man emu rear leaves. Can't go wrong....but not a done deal yet we will see I have just been waiting so long and I need money for other jeep parts this would get it in the road I could save and add parts as I go. Its a win win

no its not. adding parts later will cost more. just do it once and do it right.

it is always more expensive to buy the cheap stuff.

aal are dumb, and pointless. why spend MORE money?

save up and get the X series, and REAL tires...not the mud chompers or whatever the hell it was you where talking about the other day at the gas station.

I have mixed emotions I'm just so ready to get it on the road bigger. I know I should just wait and do it right. That was a buddy of mine he wanted to sell them to me for 100 bucks. They were mud stars but I passed it up I want some km2s , probably won't save that long but I want to, sell me yours

Just do it right the first time. Im having the same problem with the aal but I know I need to get new leafs and I dont wanna have to do it again thats just dumb. So I will just save up a bit longer for the right lift. Work smarter not harder.

Go to the junk yard and find a lift kit, the guy sold me a whole XJ for $800, now its my parts truck, it has blown trans but good motor, 4.5 lift kit with good tires, and good body with 2 rust holes under seat.

For tires go to a yard and get good used ones, they allways have a truck or 2 with over sized tires, like Toyota pickups, S10`s mabby even a rolled wrangler, you can pick up tiers for $25 peace. Not everything has to be new on your truck, and not everything you buy has to be made for a jeep.

Im sure that 03 ranger rear leafs will fit on a mid 90`s xj to bring up the back end, and I have to look but the trans out of a ford may bolt up to the 4.0, may have to drill 2 holes in the bell hosing but its better then the jap ax-15 5speed in xj I have

Good Luck
