Can't see them all that well, but they're there. Right behind the funky roof rack (which never got mounted).

[EDIT] You can see them a little better here...

Heh, I did say it wasn't mounted. Just wanted to see if I could make it work. Alas, my $5 idea has been relegated to being saved for when we move and it will be strapped on the roof of my wife's Neon.

I'm still looking for a Yakima rack in the junk yards...

i mounted 2 to my rear bumper. one's hooked up to the back up lights, and the other one is going to go on a switch.

Is it considered "stuck" if you get yourself out?

That looks like one of my next mods. I put them in my truck years ago. They are cheap, easy to install and incredibly durable.

I priced a new set locally today. For the lights, grommets and pig tails was $35. I remember them being about $10 less when I got my last set. What did you pay for them?

It really is just that easy. If I remember right, I took some careful measurements and drilled a 2" hole on each side of where the light would be. I then cut out between the two holes with a Sawzall, spliced into the factory harness so the bumper lights came on with the stock lights, tagged some self tappers into the frame to ground the lights, crammed the grommets into the holes and crammed my new lights into the grommets.
