Painted up the new bumper lastnight, and just bolted her up on the jeep. Check it out, I'm happy on how it came out.

Finished bolting the whole bumper up. Total of 14 grade 8 bolts holding that sucker on. As I was under neither I noticed I had a very crooked/unthreaded bolt that holds the motor mount to the engine bay. Check it out... Also are some more bumper photos...

Just two welds, from a certified welder. Who has tested his weld strength, and knows the steel will break before the welds do. Don't really plan on pulling much weight on them if any.

Ordered a set of new Leaf Springs. They will be in tomorrow, so I started the rear end tear down. Pulled the track bar while I was in there. Fabricating a new brake line bracket drop, and also going to repaint the rear axle & change the fluid and seal. Name: image-22175729.jpg

Finished the rear suspension up today, painted everything. I even painted the wheel wells with rustoleom underside paint. Fabricated a small 3" drop bracket for the rear brake line. Also changed the oil and re surfaced the flange on the cover/axle side. Here are some pictures Name: image-3262463346.jpg

Finished up the front end tonight. installed 1.75" daystar spacers on top of generic 3" coils. I will be replacing those in a month or so with RE3.5 springs. The front end measures 38" to the fender & the rear reads 39 3/4". expecting that to settle around 39" and once i have the rear tire carrier finished it should sit right around 38 1/2". Should have that done soon... here are some pictures of how she sits.
