Back from the clinic

Just got back from the clinic, I ran a six inch long phillips head screw bit through my hand, well it only went in about and inch or so, got a few stitches and now I'm back on track.

soo this all lead me to wonder, what kind of work place injuries have you had? I know some of use jeepers tend to be a bit more reckless than the next guy!!

Managed to put part of an old exhaust hanger through my finger all fish hook style. In one side of my fingertip and sticking out the other. Didn't hit the bone though, only skin

lots of bloody knuckles from wrenches slipping off bolt heads, lots of dremel disks cutting off the surface of my skin, lots of wire wheel incidents causing medal wire pieces to get stuck in my hand, but no hospital trips yet due to working on the jeep.

I'm a programmer, so workplace injuries are not too common. That being said:

I sliced open my finger. Four stitches, ER visit, the whole shebang.

Oh, I did this just walking through an open door.

Got banged up in a foot pursuit saturday night. Other guy got away but at least he's probably blind from the two gallons of anhydrous ammonia he took to the face when he dumped his bucket to run.

Gotten rust in my eyes working under the Jeep and busted up some knuckles and all sorts of other joints on the Jeep and Mustang. Almost put a flathead screwdriver through the piece of skin between my pointer finger and thumb when I was trying to get a nail out of one of my brand new tires. That hurt.
