Anyone redone their woodgrain?

I'm trying to look for the best way to redo the woodgrain on the outside of my '84.

Right now I think my best option is using a vinyl wrap, probably using a 3m product.

Just wondering if anyone has a different or better way of doing this, thanks guys

The original is vinyl, so...

You could do real wood, but you'd have to find a shop capable, and it would be very expensive.

Are the wood panels removable on the waggy packages? You could clean them and have them hydroimaged for pretty cheap.

They aren't exactly removable, hopefully it will peel off. And I actually do wood flooring for a living along with other custom wood work. I think I could do my own paneling, but I just don't know how well it would last. Wood does get bleached by the sun, might look bad and dull after a while? I dunno. I'll look into that tho
