anyone haev pillar lights?

like the lights right outside the window on the windsheild?
i found mounts for them on ebay and im about to ask for them for my bday on sunday and i was curios if anyone else had them and would care to share a picture so i know if they look good.

Similar to a police spot light? Never seen one on an xj, but it would be pretty cool..

Can you link us to them? I would be interested in them too (if they don't damage the heep to mount them)

Might be useful for fabbing cb antenna mounts also

How about mounting them onto the front of the mirrors? That way you don't have to drill the body and they won't affect aerodynamics much. Or cut the mirror housings and put some small lights inside!

i cant pull up the pics but it just a bracket and i dont think im going to get them.but that is a good idea to put lights on the mirrors ahah
do you really think it would work?thatwould look cool

My dad's police Jeep (97 XJ) had a dealer-installed Unity 4" spotlamp. You can order the kit from a Unity distributor.

Ok grabbed some XJ police pics off the net-

Like I said, Unity should be able to stock this configuration still. It comes with instructions on how to do the install, and in all actuality if you have an inkling of mechanical skill it's not hard at all. You can get both left and right spotlights too.
