Anybody want a TJ?

Greetings XJ people. I have something to propose. I have a very nice, clean, perfectly maintained 1999 TJ in Red. It's got a brand new clutch, and new brake pads. I have a 2"BB on it with 31"BFG A/T's. Also a brand new SailCloth Soft top. I drive a good bit and take trips about 2 weekends a month. My main hobby is backpacking with Jeeping as a back up hobby, and most of these trips are to support those addictions. The TJ just doesn't have enough room for me, my wife, dog, and all our junk. I had a TJ for 6 years when I was younger and knew I wanted to get back into that world, but didn't stop to think that I carry a lot more baggage now that I'm not 18 and single.

So. What are the odds of a trade for an XJ, lightly modified or stock, late model, preferrably a Limited?(I like body color bumpers and fenders.) Anyone out there wanting a nice, well maintained TJ?

A side note is that before I bought this Jeep last year it was owned by an old man who towed it behind his Camper. It has 150,000 on it. It was never wheeled and that is obvious by looking it over. My wife is kind of terrified of off roading right now, so she won't let me do any of the good stuff. So it's only been lightly offroaded over the last 3 months.

Pics soon.

Comparible model TJ's and XJ's (age, miles, condition) the TJ has a good bit higher book value, so you should beable to either trade, or buy/sell and get something good.

I would like a TJ, but im not giving up my XJ for it, lol.

I have a TJ and a XJ, and still want to part with the TJ. They really aren't practical for anything other than a toy.

I'd love a TJ, however with 3 kids still at home that like the outdoors, it wouldn't work too well for me. Good luck though.
