I was able to steal this one for 6k and only 75xxx. Agreed that 2" doesnt constitute a build thread but will be doing a 3" after that. Will also be doing some other upgrades

The brown santa finally came today and delivered my BB form Fat Bobs Garage! I got a 2" coil spacer and 2" lift shackles. Im hoping to install them this coming weekend but it depends on how much rust is there and the weather.

So i went to install my lift shackles today and ran into problems. I was able to remove the top bolt on the drivers schakle no problem, so i wnet to do the same on the passenger side. Sure enough the bolt was siezed to the metal sleeve inside the bushing. I didnt realize this until the blot and sleeve had punched a hole though the frame mounting location. I went to remove the bolt from the shackle to leaf spring but again the metal sleeve was siezed to the bolt. I had no way of getting it out and was forced to put everything back together with the stock parts. So im looking for ideas to get the bolts out of the bushing since they need to be reused on the leaf spring. BTW doing this in a college parking lot sucks!! Should have listened to my dad and waited 2 weeks to be home on spring break. I hate when he's right haha Thanks guys.

x2, jack stands will save your life. High jack stands probably fine for lifting it up but a regular jack for support , I dont know.

Im doinf the lift in a parking lot because Im at college and have no access to a garage. Im also impatient and wanted to prove my Dad wrong since he said it couldnt be done. Yes jack stands would have been better but I dont have them up with me in VT. I only have so much room to carry things from my home in NJ.

Don't take these guys criticism to heart on the bumper. It could use a little work to make it a little more presentable. But solid fab work and much respect for a kid your age having those skills. As for your lift check out this thread and let me know what you think! I had the same issues when I did my 4.5 rc.
