Ok we get it... it's a an ugly ****ing bumper... Lay off the guy, there are much worse things on the road. He doesn't need 18 pages of flaming. He owns the same vehicle as the rest of us, and props to him for even trying to build a bumper. At least he doesn't have 30 LUND products on it. If you don't like his build, then move onto the next one.

I think you are mistaking my comment for flaming, I'm just busting the guys balls, I even complimented him on his sliders.

Havnt been updating the thread in a while but got some motivation to after S8NNG8 was talking in his. Havnt done anything major since the sliders except some good wheeling and normal maintenance. Bought a warn 8274 a few weeks ago and found out the solenoids are bad so this weekned Ill be fixing that and working on a mount for it. Im mounting it off that ugly big honkin bumper I have!! Ill keep it updated, but also headingt o Rausch Creek PA August 9-11

Do you honestly like that bumper?

Or do you leave it on there to bother everybody... including myself.

Plenty of pictures and video will be taken!! I really do have a liking for the bumper, it can take anything in its way and at this point I should make tally marks for how many people dont like it.

I think a bigger/more agressive wheel/tire combo would do wonders for the bumper hatin lol. Ive seen many "socially accepted" bumpers that arent any smaller than yours as far as dimensions go. Weight may be a different story though. I think wheels with less backspacing and a well chosen tire size/tread design would help that bumper to blend in a lot better.

4.5" lift with 35's may make the bumper look somewhat better IMO.

Will post pictures later today, but after 330 mies of straight driving on saturday I got home and as I pulled into my driveway the rear steel brake liner rusted through and I lost brakes. That was pure luck!! Bought some line and replaced that sunday and realized the rear passenger leaf pack was looking odd. THe bottom leaf in the pack was cracked off and the back half is missing screw you rustys!!!! Need them to replace it by Friday for Rausch. Work on the winch mount is started and picking up the cut plates Tuesday from my Grandfather

Been working hard to get this winch mounted and working for this weekend. I got al the plate cut and welded yesterday just need a few more welds with my bigger welder and grinding. I still have not been able to get the solenoids to work even with brand new ones and Iv checked the diagrams 1000 times and can't see the problem. If anybody can help with the wiring let me know!! I am going to try grounding all the solenoids to see what happens.

I know that winch you have is a big son of a b!tch, but did you think about trying to recess maybe half of it back into the bumper and grille? That winch sticking way out there will kill your approach angle.
