Messed with the door...
Welding IS DONE!!!!!

Cut out a piece to block up a hole...

Before

AFTER

I have found out that like anything else, PRACTICE makes anything better.......couldnt say perfect cuz I know there not.

Now I have to figure out what Ima do for inside skin.. use what I have left over of sheet metal which is alot or get an 1/8 thick sheet of some rubber and screw it to the inside.....

Need to figure out the vinyl setup for the winder
Sand all the door cuz I really screwed up a paintable surface with the 90
And Remove the Door off the Cherokee
Build a pigtail for the Window switch to plug and play so I can lay it in the console.

Fabbed up a window out of some "heavy duty"vinyl from Walmart. Brass Eyelets are ones you'd use for a tarp/build your own kit. I bought them at the local hardware store.

Tyed and cro'd

Made an Inner Door Pop out of an old spent Tie Rod Ball Stud.

Power Windows get ther power through the master switch...so when u remove the door you lose that... So I made my own harness that uses the factory connectors.

What Should I do with the switch? Suggestions Id like to build a box????

hey man nice work, your Jeep is looking good. I was a about to put the same rack you had on mine, mainly for spare tire and high lift storage. Just wondering why you took yours off, was it just for the looks? What didn't you like about it?

Hurts your fuel mileage and it makes it top heavy. IMO it looks better without it.

its practical for looks....thats about it. You get a tire put there and you have no clue of the wind drag. Its all in what you like too. As soon as Id let off the gas its like a chute out the back. 10mph like right now......

Basically been there done that got the t shirt.

Went to Crozet yesterday.. IT WAS AWESOME!!!! WELL WORTH THE $$$$

Here are a few pix.. I was busy helping and tinkering I guess you'd call it.

Pix are decent but unless you dedicate someone to be constantly on a camera good pix are hard to come by because your constantly driving on small obstacles and thats what makes this place great.

The mishap from a few weeks ago struck me again....I saw a u joint cap laying in the dirt about 5 ft in front of me after exiting a trail... stopped and picked it up looked awful new and it was a spicer. My ears perked up and I decided it'd be a great idea to check my axle...SURE ENOUGH it was my cap So IDK if i hadnt got the clip all the way in or what but I flung a cap out. Swapped a spare in but it was leaking so had to steal a cap from the p/s spare and reswap the orignal axle............WHAT A PAIN IN THE DICK
