Nice clean install, and good call on the hole saw... how often will you use a 5" hole saw anyhow?

Might grab one of these, or the dreaded Specter. Pics of the hood installed?

Moar pics. Sorry about the red crap, I think this camera is starting to give up the ghost.












Here's the little bracket you have to trim down for the evap solenoid. It reuses the same holes and shares them with the heat shield.

Looking good man. Did you paint the hood yourself with a rattle can of colour match? Or did you swap the vents to your hood (more likely).

I love the ORF rear quarter protection, nerf bars and all.

I just swapped the vents over. The other hood's PO had the lines cut a little too close to the upper edge (along the 'bottom' edge of the vents in the pic) and into the support, so he had to crimp some of the metal back. I got the appropriate measurements from a youtube video and it came out fine.

Yeah the armor is very solid. I stood on one of the rails, shifting my weight up and down and it feels as if it's welded on there. I'll have no qualms about rigging my hammock up to it for camping over the holiday weekend.

I think it was this video...the guy tends to ramble a bit and he doesn't actually film the cutting or installation but all you really need are the numbers anyway. I basically went 5-1/2" down from the center, then 3" out on either side to mark the upper inner corners.

No problem. I took my hood off so as to avoid cutting into anything underneath (the cowl intake tube is only about 1/8" from touching) and to prevent my windshield from being peppered with hot little pieces of metal. It also made it a bit easier to work on at waist level. It's not very difficult to remove or put back on, but you'll definitely want an extra set of hands (and socket/wrench) as it's a bit unwieldy.

Of course I got them installed right as the temps have dropped from the 90's back down into the 70's, but that's okay. Normal running temp now is right around 205 -- I can tell because the two e-fans that come on at that temp shut off almost immediately after I kill the engine as opposed to the couple of minutes they would run before. Running my A/C now pushes it to exactly 210. I can probably improve on that just a little bit more once I get the new fan shroud in, I just haven't set aside the time to dig in and do it yet. I'm hoping I don't have to drain the coolant and remove the radiator...I've done it too many times this year already.

Got out a little this weekend, this was the best I could do. Ran out of stump, but my passenger coil was almost completely off the ACOS anyway. Not bad for a slightly modified 3" kit.

Whats your front setup consist of?
How do u like the acos, do the threads look strong?
And what bumper is that?

I can answer that about the acos. I have jumped my jeep to the point of bending my Dana 30 and they acos were not damaged at all.
