99 cherokee sport 146k

Ok guys so I'm lifting my 99 xj with a 3 in rough country lift, now it comes with an add a leaf, I was told you can insert the add a leaf without taking the whole leaf springs off of my rear end, I just wanted to know if this is true, and if so how would I go about it?

Yes. Undo the ubolts and the leaf spring clamps. Then put a clamp by the center pin and undo it. Pull the leafs apart and put the aal in place. It's ideal to get a new center pin and clamps, as well as ubolts.

You put the clamp there so the leafs don't fly all over the place. Once the pin is out then undo the clamp.

Yup. Be sure to put the aal the right way. One side will be longer than the other. You will see once you get it.

And also put it in the right order. The aal should go under the leaf longer than it and above the leaf shorter than it. Typically the long aal's go under the main leaf.
