Ok guys so I'm lifting my 99 xj with a 3 in rough country lift, now it comes with an add a leaf, I was told you can insert the add a leaf without taking the whole leaf springs off of my rear end, I just wanted to know if this is true, and if so how would I go about it?
Yes. Undo the ubolts and the leaf spring clamps. Then put a clamp by the center pin and undo it. Pull the leafs apart and put the aal in place. It's ideal to get a new center pin and clamps, as well as ubolts.
And also put it in the right order. The aal should go under the leaf longer than it and above the leaf shorter than it. Typically the long aal's go under the main leaf.
Ok man, I'm not doin it until Monday hopefully but ill let you know how it goes, I appreciate the help!
