Thats the rear differential.... Hopefully just a bad seal and a quick fix. Wouldnt hurt when replacing the seal to change out the gear oil.
Go ahead and do all the tune up and service stuff. If this is a 4wd and you are planning on lifting it id wait on the shocks till you put a lift on. |

Discovered that my two front U joints were both blown.
Set everything back up to replace them. After beating on it caveman style for a few hours, we bought a machine press. We were able to pop one side's U joint out. We cracked the right side axle shaft. So, one trip to quadratec later, here it is: Brand spankin new ![]() |

And more updates:
After loosing a fender flare while traveling down the road, i noticed how extremely rusted through all of my fender flare clamps were. I pulled em all off and noticed a lot of surface rust under them.. Unfortunately, I was a dumb *** and deleted the pictures from all that work. Everything got sanded down from that and that area was bedlined. Here it is as it stands at the moment: ![]() |

I see you removed the endcaps off the bumper, I think it look way better this way, I did it to my jeep 2 weeks ago. But pretty soon I'll be building a custom bumper and removing that little piece of sheet metal

Looks good! Id definitely put the endgame back on unless you plan on getting a bumper soon.

*end caps. Stupid phone. It makes them look like it's been crashed or abused without them.
