96 2dr xj build

so i bought this cherokee for $300. its a 1996 xj 2dr 5 spd 4.0 w/117,xxx on the clock. all it needed was a grille and fender and it was perfect. my intentions with this xj is to build a trails/rock crawler-rig. and here is my process and updates. enjoy!

ok i know 31's on stock suspension is lame. gotcha. im going with a 4.5" long arm lift and sye this week, so pics to come. but for now, ive trimmed the stock flares, eliminated the flare inner bracket and notched and folded the actual innner fender. also, the truck had a bent bumper when i bought it. i had to cut the driver side. so i cut the passenger side to basically have a stubby bumper. new bumber coming soon. not bad for a total of $600 invested.

Did you use a rattle can spray or linex and a spray gun?? Just curious looks amazing and I'm about to do mine and would like to get pretty close to that.
