So i used to own a yj and has to part it out due to an excessive amunt of frame rot. Picked up a 91 xj for 500 bucks going to build it up to be my DD and Weekend warrior will have pics for every step.

here i went wheelin before i started tearing it apart:

here is a pic of the tear down going to start on the passenger side floor first

picked up some rims off CL for 200 bucks MT classics i think:

It sure as hell beats the price of any one that you'd buy.

today i got some snow here and had to do an emergency tie rod end replacement.
bad news: 33's rub bad when turning so im going to bust out the sawzall tomorrow.
any ideas on how and where i should trim the fenders to clear these tires?
the rear has already been trimmed but the front needs some serious cutting, and the yj flares are coming off and im going flareless.
i think i have a 3" RC lift

I cut mine up to the body line and then cut and folded the rear quarters. I have more lift than you tho. I clear the 33s easy and can run 35s so your 33s will fit fine if you chop it enough.
Look at some of my pics if you need an idea.
