$$$ something that will cost $800 plus to do right. And I need the money I have a ****ty week ahead of me, AS in I have 50 miles of gas and I need to go on a 200 mile trip

Yup, mines welded and personally, I have only personally seen 1 broken shaft in one. This was welded on 36's and the axle had seen a lot of skinny pedal. As for my axle, I've power braked it on concrete, launched it in dirt and on black top, beat it hard in the rocks.....you get the picture

Well I have to do a whole new sound system so it's not gonna happen until I have a good system and she's coming off dd duty possibly in favor of a dub dub 30+ mpg sounds good to me.
