who gives a **** if it is a street jeep. not everyone who owns a jeep has to offroad. ****ing nazis. maybe they just like the look of them. same as picking any car

Slip on spacers are not generally regarded as a safe method for clearancing wheels. Either go with a wheel with less backspacing or a set of bolt on adapters.
