5 point harnesses. Who has them? Who uses them? Why or why not?

I got a new bucket with a new harness, for free. It was going to be for the YJ, but that is now for sale (anyone interested?) so... I have been thinking of putting it in my XJ, but I am not sure.

I always wear my oem seat belt while wheeling. I think the 5pt seat will limit my movement and i wont be able to move at all. Yes, I know that is the point of it. I run doors on my xj and lean out the window occasionally in tough spots.

Alternatively, I sell it, or i put it into the passenger side for the wife.

I use mine in really bad spots as well as times the factory belts are locked. It comes in handy on the trails.

Hopefully. Can't speak for other states, but in NJ it's illegal to use the 5 pts on the street, so installing them and removing the stock belts on a driver is a no-go.

Hmmm.. I would like to see a setup with both if someone has it. Although, here in AL you can get away with pretty much anything. LOL

Both sounds like an interesting alternative. Got any pics? I'm stll considering putting it on the passenger side for the lady, but if could run both, i may get a second seat.
