4wheel low burnouts !!

i know i know its probly the worst thing you can do to your T-case and everything else down the line but i had to try it. i got a little tuft of smoke from a brake launch has any on else ever given in to their temptations and tried it? i was in a if it brakes ill just fix it mood it held together fine... no obvious ill effects. what is the weakest link and most likely to break? T-case chain?

so you were pushing the brakes and the gas at the same time? i would say the weakest link would be the rear axle

err..is this even possible? ud have to be anchored to the ground and be on dirt or a wet/soapy ground to be able to spin all 4 tires. Although i did manage to make all 4 tires loose traction on an up hill at a stop sign on a rainy day...and almost rolled the jeep trying to drift a corner on a rainy day lol good times

never tried it. the other night i was in 4lo in a mud puddle, revved it up to about 3k and and quickly let out the clutch and mud went flyin everywhere. i try to avoid burning rubber on the pavement since i got mud tires.

Most likely break IMO would be an axle or driveshaft u-joint. Of course there are many things that could explode from such an event including the tcase.

(Next time, get it on video)

Not possible unless you chained yourself to a large stationary object. And then things might break! The 4.0 doesn't have enough torque to do the job on pavement, even in 4low. More likely to give yourself whip lash then break the tires free.

It's possible to do it, but you shouldn't be on dry pavement in 4wd at all.

My vote is the t-case would be the first to go, fallowed by a u-joint.

A 4.0 in 4-lo has rediculous tourqe, I almost garuntee you I could walk outside and do it now if I wanted to break something, lol.

There was a video on youtube i can't seem to find. A nice lookin black v8 ZJ was in a big garage chained to one of the support columns, put it in 4hi and floored it. Needless to say he filled the entire shop with smoke, all 4 tires were spinning. Funny to watch, I was waiting for his tcase to just fall to the ground in pieces.
