No one has asked yet so I will. What is the goal or what do you hope to achieve by going to bigger tires? That might answer the "why stop?" Question. How big can you fit into your setup?

I think I could fit 37's. I plan on just trimming as much as I need to in order to fit whatever I get.

Goal? I don't see me going any bigger than 37's. I just want a little more clearance than the 33's give me.

I wouldn't go bigger than a 37 on a 44/9 combo. I'd look on CL and just see what popped up for cheap. I flip tires like its my job when I have extra cash. If its gonna be a trail rig go with some Creepies or krawlers. For mild dd and wheelin. Mtz. Km2. Mtrk. Etc. Also look at strength of the tire.

I'm set on Creepy Crawlers or MTZ's, but I'm not rulling out whatever I can find cheap on CL or the forums.

You'll thank me later, I found my tires, 85% 30" BFG AT's, on nice Aluminum rims for $400. Had to take an hour trip each way but still a smoking deal.

I'll take anything that someone wants to give me, but if I'm buying new I think I'm sticking with MTZ's. Used? That's a different story.

Expand your radius??

The STT's are quite a capable tire but I can't see them holding a candle to a true bogger.

Bias creepys are an amazing tire. my boss runs them and they just grab. In spots where my mt's slip a little they just crawl right up.

But don't get the 35's they measure out around 33.5". So go 37's , but they are pricey

That's what I'm thinking. 37" creepys. I guess I just might need to stick with the 33's for awhile yet and save up. I guess that's better than buying 35" MTZ's now only to turn around and want the 37" creepys a few months later.
