285's or 315's, Need opinions

I'm getting ready to get some new tires for the Xj. I need some opinions on weather i should stay with 285's or trim and move up to 315's. All suggestions are appreciated.

will you be able to run 315's without rubbing while turning?

Im hoping they will clear. I have 6.5" lift now and i will trim the fenders if need be.
