2000 XJ Cherokee Sport Build

Hello , I Just buoght a Jeep and I am new to this forum. After looking the forum over I noticed you guys like your build treads. I bought this Jeep on craiglist for $ 1,300.00 with engine troubles. The rest of the Jeep is clean. I blow it up on the way home. So here we go.
This is how it looked on craigslist.

After I got it home.

Since I blow it up on the way home I decided on a new reman 4.0. I was not upset I knew it had engine problems when I bought it.

Well this is what I have to start with. The new engine will be in Tomorrow. I will keep you posted on the progress. Hope you Enjoy.

That is a nice looking jeep. I would have jumped on it too for that price.

Thanks Guys. The guy wanted $ 2,700.00 the night before Easter. I drove to see it a the machanics shop he had it at. I really wanted a 5 speed. So I call the guy up to tell him I did not want to embarrass him with my offer , it was not really what I wanted , and I have sold stuff on craigslist and hate when people leave you hanging. He told me he would entertain any offer so I offered half his asking price and brought him cash that night. He told me cylinder 5 had a misfire and it had antifreeze in the oil. I made the mistake of driving it home. It ended up having a bad bearing and blow up on the highway.
